P38A Air suspension newbie question and some other small niggles

Where are the door adjar switches? Within the lock mechanism? Or are they a separate switch?

P38A Air suspension newbie question and some other small niggles

What year is yours Domino? Much to my surprise mine is the same, I agree with wammers though that there is a fault because the interior lights dont work on the front doors being open in mine. (Another issue!) how are your interior lights. the only daft reason I can think for anyone turning this...

    Nanocom Evo - Shall I Or Shan't I?

But I can get at it and give it a good clean though? I have read about people lubricating and freeing of flaps behind the dash, If i'm honest my last P38 was never a bother with the HVAC (praise the lord) so I've never had any of it to bits. I wish there was someone local that would have a look...

    Nanocom Evo - Shall I Or Shan't I?

OK Cool thanks, will have a look at that. Can the LH blend motor be changed without anything else out apart from the side panel?

    Nanocom Evo - Shall I Or Shan't I?

I'll have to have a go at that then! I have had a quick look at Rave, it looks like glove box removal, HVAC panel removal and a few trim panels, is that the case to try and get at the flaps to see if they move or are stuck?

Does that give you some hope? Haha!

    P38 Brake problem.

It sounds fairly normal behaviour but you need to check that the pump is strong and the accumulator can store brake pressure. So does the pump run every time you press the brake pedal? How long does it take for the pump to stop running after first start up?

    Nanocom Evo - Shall I Or Shan't I?

My argument is currently going in the direction of "well I need it to fix the HVAC issue" Rather peevishly my P38 likes to blow cold air at the passenger and warm air at the driver. Great for when I'm overheating and shes moaning shes freezing!

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I've seen that guy he advertises on ebay I believe that includes the removal and refitting of a headlining as well! Its a bargain but I can imagine if you do them all day every day you'll have the procedure down to a T and the fabric pre-cut so you are onto a winner!

    P38A ABS and Traction Problems

Yeah I have been looking at the accumulator to be honest. It's not to bad at the moment tends to run every 4 pedal pushes or so. It does run each different day but fine if stopped and started. I don't tend to use the Rangie much once a week etc! I've not even done 200 miles in it yet and I've...

    P38A ABS and Traction Problems

OK I will bring an end to this thread to help anyone in the future. After some messing I managed to fit the new ECU into the car, bizarrely there are actually three bolts holding the ecu in (rave says 2!) and the top bolt is a proper PITA. Moment of truth when putting the key in ignition and...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

If you have locking wheel nuts you'll probably find that the covers for the lockers have a slight dish in the top. I have found that to be honest just putting the wheel brace onto the top of the nut cover actually works fine although you do risk scratching them if they are scruffy anyway you can...

    towing with 4.6

It will be 15 - 17 just gasites double it as the fuel cost is half... but that doesnt take into account the cost of the conversion or the maintaining of it, or the petrol it uses to start up on etc. As for towing, with my last 4.6 Thor I did a 400 mile round trip to collect a 19' sailing boat...

    P38A Eka code nightmare

EAS is the electronic air suspension that would have been fitted to the car when it was new, controls the ride height up and down etc. The pump and valve block should be on the right hand side of the engine bay where that white tank is just near the air filter. Looks like the cruise actuator and...
