Is Durlley too far away for a workshop?

I think i recognise your truck as well. I go between Portchester and Chandlers Ford via Waltham Chase, Bishops Waltham, Fishers Pond every weekday.

I work in Chandlers Ford so pretty close. Mines a red 90 with galvansied roofrack and snorkel on passenger side (200TDI).

Well I ain't no mechanic, but I have next week off work if ya want a hand trying to sort the issue..........

Probably worth a crawl underneath when it's not peeing down for obvious loose bolts or such. That and help from someone such as @jamesmartin or @dieseldog69 might be able to offer more technical help.

It's my daily drive so 95% on road.I'm not too fussed by heavy duty but I like the open design. Terrafirma pro sport standard height dampers going on. Shame Gwyn Lewis don;t do them in yellow.:oops:

Just about to swap my front dampers so thought I'd replace the turrets for heavy duty open ones and turret rings. Before I order from Paddock Spares at £53 does anyone no any reason not to or any better value turrets...

Just over a year and it's bright red so not mine. There's a cracking series I see sometimes on the way to/from work (Portchester-Chandlers Ford). White/cream with some RAF type marking on it. It's a real peach!

In Chandlers Ford right now having product tested snow foam over my 1989 90 before lunch......I don't bother with the M27 and prefer the A roads.

My early 90 with 200TDI engine is my daily drive - around 25 miles each way with a mixture of A roads and traffic jams. It's been fine for the 18 months I've been doing it.

That's what I did on my 200TDI. No real noticeable difference in noise or power.....There is when you start the engine with no centre section fitted though :)
