    Starting Problem when hot

Have a look at the fuel over run shut off relay, it can be found under the bonnet near the air flow meter, all by it’s self, sometimes because of wear it sits the terminals get grubby, pull it out and give the socket a squirt of wd40, if that does no good it may well be the over run fuel...

    Cylinder head problem

Head gaskets are under constant high pressure and heat changes, so at some stage they weaken and break, provided the blown head gasket is dealt with fairly quickly, the new gasket should last many years. It’s only if the heads are left leaking for some time you can end up having problems. I.e...

    classic questions?

I am currently running 3.5 vogue with LPG I’m getting 14 mpg single point properly tuned. You shouldn’t find any major problems running v8 on LPG provided all ignition parts are up to scratch and the engine is tuned to run correctly.

Put the points into the distributor; turn the engine by hand if you can until the centre spindle high point is touching the plastic pickup on the points, now adjust the gap, squirt with wd40 and try.

    Big Big Problem :(

If there is still air in the system you will get a fall off of pressure when you depress the clutch pedal. The slave cylinder works like a bicycle pump the slide inside the slave has a rubber grommet which causes the pressure as it moves up the tube to increase, the movement up the tube is the...

    Door switches!

The switches that control the interior lights are located on the pillars between the door hinges, they resemble a dowel, they are spring loaded so that when the door is closed they break the circuit, because of there location they can and do rust, unscrew the switch and if ok give it a good clean

    range rover classic steering wheel

Andy as far as I can remember yes it will fit, however to get the old one off without a puller can be very hard work, take the centre nut off then grasp the steering wheel either side and rock it from side to side while pulling, when it releases you could end up in the back seat.
