    Check all pipes re turbo, my disco 1 was like a slug for 2 years, thought that was normal, till I found a small split on the underside of a pipe, £3 for a new pipe, goes like a new vehicle !

    Multi Function Unit

    Put in a search for 'mfu', and you will find the answer, my mechanic replaced mine last week, took 10 minutes with a second hand, beige mfu, amr5360, not the black ones fitted to earlier discos, and all my electronic stuff is now working for a fraction of the cost of a new one, around £275 ?

    Update; got sent an mfu in double quick time, second hand from '4x4partsonline', very good service, based in Trefeglwys , very decent price, and it works, so I am pleased as punch. I ordered the part one evening at 5pm, it was delivered the next morning to Northumberland at 11.30 am !

    Thanks for the reply Attached to the back of the fuse box , which is in the driver's footwell. If the rear heated window , rear wiper, fog light, intermittent wipers were working, then the unit is ok, but I need the beige one, not the black one. The beige one is on later discos 1, from around...

    Anybody got an mfu for a 96 disco, the beige one, part amr5360, these were used in vehicles from vin534104, and control fog light, rear wiper, heated rear windscreen etc Cheers, Steve
