hi, i am a young lady with a 300tdi. My fuel pump is spreading diesel around my engine-bay, driveway, field etc, and is costing me a fortune! i've ordered one (along with cv joints and swivel kit which i can manage) but am not experienced enough to change it myself and my mechanic wont do...

hi, i have a 300tdi disco, its an R reg, (with only 40k (genuine)) i currently hate it, but maybe you can help. the doors will not stay locked, i press the button, they go down, then within seconds they all pop up again, its the drivers door that is the problem, i have locked all the others...

while you're checking the belt, you might want to check everything it runs... mine is being a nightmare at the mo, we did the belt and tensioner, that helped the steering, then the alternator died, and i ordered a new waterpump today, just need some nice mug to fit it for me!!

in the summer i ran my 300 on neat unused veg oil, as long as the nights werent too cold it was great, didnt do any modifications or anything, and it worked out loads cheaper, now it doesnt work out any different cost wise, and as its so cold i'm back on normal diesel again, my car is fine runs...

the switch for the light is located underneath, we found it one day when i was sitting in it wiggling the gear stick around, i guess its near the transfer box. we never bothered to change the switch on mine and it passed its mot with no mention.
