Anybody know what this bracket is for in tub of 88"? I can see holes for Bench seats but this seems to be an extra.....

The 'bracket' is made of strong stuff and offers a lot of protection against stray branches etc pushing up from below.....

This is one fitted to a 1979 Series III, 88".

Hi Simon, I just used a cheap Matt Black, no preparation other than a good wash and dry. They've held up really well other than a few scuffs from feet near the bottom....

Price seems to be for one SET, so you'll get the pair at that price..... Edit...That's for the the bowls

Red/yellow seems to be Convoy Light and Brown/red is Rear Fog . What about an Earth/ground? Will you take that from chassis?.....

I don't know, if you fit the gauges "backing panel/shroud" first. I'd say you're ok to fit that stiffener bracket then.....

Can you see here how it was fitted on my 88".....

I'm in Ireland so much much good to you, but......I think the drain plug from the diffs is the same thread as the tank, might make it easier to find.

Hi S&S, I've a 1979 project and just looked under the bonnet. Mine has the same amount of offset as in your pics so it must be a standard thing. I'll try get a pic of mine tomorrow, I have the pedal boxes removed and the bulkhead is 'holy'!.....

Mine is Td5 hardtop. The stays are fitted to the rear hole of the marked bracket on the chassis.....
