You think it's a series 2 chassis? It looks different from the series 3 smaller outriggers and the shock absorbers seems to attach to the top edge of the chassis.

I have been to the show before thought it was great but think I may miss it this year due to work. I am lucky enough that I have a workshop at work with a car lift that I have all to my self, but would be great to meet up for a chat certainly would be nice to have someone with a good knowledge...

Remember not to over tighten the castellated nut and squash the felt washer, just tighten it until its hand tight and you can fit the split pin in the nut

They are the same as the nuts for the starter 3/8's UNF if anyone else needs to know

i seem to have misplaced the nuts that attach the bellhousing to the flywheel housing and engine, does any one know what size these should be? (series 3 2 1/4 petrol engine.) it was a bit of a battle to get the flywheel housing to sit on without nipping the o-ring and i really dont want to have...

I think I may have over tightened them then, am I correct in thinking the flywheel should be tightened to 65 lbf ft? What is it they say about bad workmen and their tools? :oops::oops::(

Argh f*cking ba**arding fecking stupid cheap piece of f**king junk torque wrench! Set the right torque setting and it's snapped the bolts in the engine block for the flywheel housing!!!! does anyone know the right torque setting in case I got it wrong?
