I usually put her into low range then clutch and try push lever a bit further as mine does the same. Invariably i find it travels the rest of the way the second time. You can also pull forward a meter, stop and clutch and try push it further towards the low range. Hope the helps, it's best case...

Might sound funny but check for water in your relays. I found water in my washer relay kept fusing my indicators and it was after a little driving when the tiny bit of water in the relay sloshed around over the resisters etc. Occasionally now my left signal flashes really fast but when I fiddle...

So I have recently put in a reconditioned LT77 G suffix into my 110 Defender 200tdi. The mechanic put in a Britpart clutch. I am find 1st snd second a little crunchy and the gearbox supplier said this is down to the clutch. Does this make any sense? Thanks
