Right so constant live (brown) had melted and had touched the large and small red/brown cables all at the back of the ignition switch. No fuses in the fuse box blown, where abouts is the 60a fuse on the 200tdi 110? I think this must have blown cause after separating still wouldn't start. Taken...

Nothing out of the ordinary. Only thing I noticed was a squeek every time they wiped. This was on the way to destination and it was on the return where it blew as was trying to use washer without any luck.so wipers were really slow on dry glass then blew the fuse.

Which fuse would kill everything?

The wiper fuse had blown and I replaced enroute about 30mins before the incident.

110 200tdi - Got halfway home and now I have a massive problem! Lost all power on the M61, lights, engine the lot. Rolled into the hard shoulder. During this there was a bit of fizzing a bit of smoke. I can swear the electric fizzing was coming from behind of the Speedo part of the dash. Anyway...

Right so there's a fault in the loom inside the chassis. Isolated the fault and put a bypass in. Working fine now, but think I've got to pull the loom out to see what else is fried. Thanks for all the help guys!

I tried tracking the cable back from the stalk. Bit tough getting into behind the dash as tvwts where it goes and then through bulkhead centre. Couldn't find where it split as all in a loom when though took some tape off, limited working through area the Speedo after pulling that out. This has...

I should say my alt cables meted onto exhaust manifold at some point and are a bit exposed. I've cable tied them onto coolant pipe out of the way and parked it for a job in the future. Is it possible this is the issue?

I changed the relay but did not fit resistors. Should I uplug the indicators 1 by 1 to see if it goes off?
