Fitted a front wrap around diff guard, and also started spraying the bolts with WD40 in preparation do to my suspension lift.

I did the head gasket on my 200tdi, I was not going to bother getting it skimmed but in the end i thought would be best. It only cost £40 it would have really hacked me off if I gone to the trouble of putting it back together and the head being warped causing failure. Also used new head bolts.

Looks good, I would get it done in the summer, just make sure you put something on it before the roads are salted on again. There are a fair few threads on wax oil and other products.

Is that the 2.2 puma? If your going to keep it have you had it wax oiled or something similar?
