My own cork gasket had only recently been replaced, so I carefully removed rocker cover with gasket attached and then replaced it again without changing. When retightening the rocker cover bolts after doing the adjustment I did each one up a bit at a time. Hope that helps?

I lived with a long term leak on my lightweight until one day I decided to tighten oil filter case a bit, never leaked again!!!!!

So.... problem fixed. Both the original AND the newish starter had failed. Both span fine on a bench but failed in the landy. Found a 3rd starter off another vehicle and she starts great now! Never trust the bench test! Thanks for help!
