    Had a freelander a couple of years ago, lovely car until the local dealer mistook the filling cap for the reverse gear locking pin, end of freelander. Sod went bust while I was chasing him for damages.

    Northumberland is for you, I live 3 miles from the sea (druridge bay) 25 minutes from Newcastle airport and 10 minutes from a major hospital. And we are much more civilised then those louts ‘doon soof. -)

    The LPG got serviced a month or so before the dreaded liner problem…..I’m trying to get into RAVE but I keep getting “pdf files are supported but something went wrong” The word ‘excrement’ comes to mind.

    Depends on the workforce and how the various other tradesmen tie into the job, the builder doing me extension just finished a swanky house in Morpeth took 7 months, reckons he could have done it in half the time if he catch you later, bairn needs the I pad-)

    You don't need planning for extensions under a certain size (permitted development) but for a new house you certainly do, and boy have I checked, stuck a static up therein the finish and had a letter from the council within a week warning me not to do this, that and tother, apparently...
