Thanks It's a 200tdi. I'll get pics tomorrow if I can't work it out. It's strange that this 200tdi has an oil filter housing but the 200tdi I took out had a metal filter

    Turbo oil return to short

Ahh a brew solves everything. Had a break and then fixed it in the same way as you fix everything on a Landy. I hit it with a hammer! Well tapped it. The elbow on the turbo was facing out so I gently tapped it round facing in which gave me the inch I needed. So simple but didn't see it earlier

Hi guys After fitting my spare engine (200tdi) the turbo oil return pipe doesn't reach the block for some reason? I haven't moved it so the hole in the block must be a slightly different position on this engine??? Are there different lengths of this pipe? Mind you I can't seem to undo it at...

    Front prop shaft won't fit

Ok I am most likely being stupid but I can't get the prop shaft back on. I disconnected it from front diff to fit engine and it came off fine. It now won't go back as it seems to long. I have searched but it just says "fit prop shaft to diff" am I missing something glaringly obvious?

I'll photo bottom tomorrow At work in a min so didn't have time to set hoist up. This whole engine is a temp thing to be in for a year whilst I rebuild the old one. I am then planning a full chassis up rebuild. That's what I've always wanted anyway
