Have you got any pics of how the bulkhead is attached. I'll be painting my new bulkhead tomorrow so want to put it on as soon as I can. Iv never took one off before so Iv no idea how it's attached to the chassis. I did buy some chassis to bulkhead brackets a while back.

    Rebuilding my 90

They seem pretty good for wheel and tyre packages. Iv got my heart set on the challenger alloys too but I can't decide on the tyres. I think I'm going 33/12.50/15 and either BFG MUDs or STTs, I haven't quite decided yet.

What size tyres have you gone for.? I think that's the same wheel and tyre combo that I'm going to get.

To be honest from the outside everything looks mint as it's been looked after but in guessing under the surface I'll probably find some rot. I'm going to attempt to respray the lot myself aswel!!

    James Mac's Defender 90 Rebuild

Spent a couple of hours on the landy today, got the clutch fitted then attached the gearbox and transfer box and put the mounts on for them. Hopefully I'll get a few more hours in tomorrow :) Only took a few pics today.

    James Mac's Defender 90 Rebuild

I think that's what I'm going to do with my gun, either that or just buy a new one. The diff guards only go one way, not sure why it's curved on that side but that's just the shape of them. Nice one mate, it's great when you get something that resembles a landrover again. Gwyn's...

Land Rover 90 - First Landy

You can change the prop shafts UJ's quite easily, it's not a big job and relatively cheap too. Google it or search the forum and you should be able to find yourself a how to guide.

    James Mac's Defender 90 Rebuild

Yeah it's an adrenaline frame, was a pig to fit but I got there in the end, it's not adjusted up properly yet as I wanted to wait until there was some weight on the chassis but it is in the hole. I'll probably just do it as tight as I can and then put the split pins through both sides, that way...

    New Fuel tank

I'll be buying a new one for my rebuild and I'm just going to get the cheapest, a tank is a tank, so aslong as all the holes are in the right place it should be fine.

I used the stone chip gun one, this one to be exact: And I'm not sure what the difference is with the ml one, this is the one that I bought, http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=221200308511&globalID=EBAY-GB

Locking wheel nuts - any good?

having a set on won't do any harm, it's better than nothing. But they can be easily taken off by hammering a socket over the top. Tbh, its more likely that sombody would steal the Landy as a whole.

I can't comment about the stone chip, but I used 2 cans of 3125 to spray the cavity inside my galv chassis, and that was a good thick layer too

    James Mac's Defender 90 Rebuild

I bet you are, you always seem to have a project on the go! Iv almost done as much as I can now before I need to start to striping my 90 down. And I can't start that as I'm moving with work and not going to have a workshop for a while. So I'm going to have to mothball it until I find...
