Think I'll give this a go first, if needs be might run some black sealant down the sides just to tidy it up, £60 for a bit of rubber sounds a bit steep

Thanks for that perfect, one question though, does it mean I will need to replace the whole "A" frame trim, all I wanted to do was replace a rubber seal that runs between the trim and the windscreen, ( it came adrift )

Think this may be a simple and silly question, on the sides of my windscreen on my TD5 there's a plastic trim, they look like they are held in by plastic rivets, on the inside frame, what is the best way to remove a: the rivets b: will this make it possible to remove the trim Also I'm guessing...

But I can still use the sun roofs and it's as new Well better it don't leak!

Get them fixed, had mine done, £350, with a two year warranty, came to my home all done in a day, with new seals drains cleared and resealed and the right adhesive to stick down the frame, both sunroofs, to be honest, when I saw all the work he did to get to them, I would have taken three times...

Mine has always "bonged" on start up, normally 3 times, no problem! Not sure that it has anything to do with the compressor?, could be wrong though

I did mine a few weeks ago, both sides, took some advice from here and a garage that specialises in Land Rovers, got to say it was pretty easy, took me about an hour, but make sure you buy new clips for the top of the air bags, mine were so rusty they fell apart!

Mine does the same it is a d2 face lift, but I must say, I do wait for all the lights and sounds to go out before I start her( I'm a bus driver, and it's something an old engineer told me, let's the all the checks take place before starting). Must say though I've never herd the compressor...

Yes I have looked at genuine Land Rover filters, and they are a fortune, and I was looking at Mann, that's why I asked, does make you wonder though what Land Rover put in their filters to warrant the price difference! Think I'll go with Mann or Coopers, thanks for the info

just about to do the oil change, and was just thinking that I'm sure I read on here that there was a particular make of rotary filter to stay away from, was I dreaming, I was going to order a Mann filter. I know sounds like a stupid question!

I've about 2.5 ltrs of fully synthetic left over from the last oil change and wanted to use it up

What engine oil for a td5 2003?, I used QX 5w30 fully synthetic last time, but have notice I can get QX 5w30 semi synthetic at Euro parts for buy one get one free, is it worth going for?

I had mine repaired by Surrey Sunroofs, excellent service, he came to my home, spent a complete day, stripping and resealing, cost £300 with 2 year guarantee , mind you now have problems leaking around windscreen, but the guy said he will come and help sort that out no charge. He did explain...

Can I reseal that with out removing the screen, I've looked from the inside and I'm thinking that maybe some tiger seal might just do the job on the inside, if it doesn't work I've nothing to lose

I will check those, but when I called the guy back yesterday,he took off the interior trim by the "A" pilars on both sides and has checked behind the roof lining, it was all dry apart from the top corners of the windscreen, we've left the trim off so when it does rain it will hopefully prove the...
