Changing too many things at once isn't good. Go back and start again if poss. Your engine needs a spark and fuel to start that's all!! Where did you spray the easy start? Down the carb, with a spark it should have fired. See if you have a spark at a plug, if not go back from the leads till you...

Completely agree, I only put top of the range tyres on my wife's car and even on my van I bin any tyre over 5 years old.... But I'm doing no more than 1000miles a year in the landy, 60miles an hour tops(!?) so will live with different tyres on front and rear, but know I should match the axle...

I'm no expert but overdrives normally work on 3rd and 4th. i.e an extra gear between 3rd and 4th and an extra gear when in 4th to decrease revs when cruising. Go out and have a play!
