    round thing underneath ??

As you seem to like informing new posters, take your own advice, and do a search for no 1. The example in your post is typical of the juvenile replies that seem to come from certain people on here. If you have nothing sensible to say then do not bother, Ian was asking for advice which did...

    round thing underneath ??

I'm sure that Ian did not say that the round donut thing had an oil leak, he asked what it was called. Rudeness and plain ignorance was not asked for. Unfortunately the word Tosser springs to mind, that makes you no 2 on this forum.

    round thing underneath ??

Ian As all ready stated by others, it is a harmonic vibration damper. It is supposed to dampen low level frequency vibrations from entering the cabin. It is simply a heavy cast iron block. I would advise you to clean your engine and around your gearbox so you can see where the oil or fluid is...

What the hell is this bloke about? Yet again someone is looking for some info and up pops the tosser with yet another useless reply. If you have nothing helpful to say, then do not bother posting. Tosser.

    LRO Magazine and P38

Using the Omega/BMW325 engine in a P38 I have had so many things go wrong on my P38 I thought I'd plan for the worst. Will the Omega /BMW car engine adapt to replace the P38 BMW 2.5 and if so anyone on here done the conversion?

    LRO Magazine and P38

I think that these articals are very informative. Unfortunatly we all know that P38's have many problems that have been present since the vehicle was first made. Pretending that they do not exist is plainly silly. I think that I would rather be told the truth than spend money out and then...

    air conditioning compressor

Yes, you can replace just the clutch on your compressor. As the clutch is external to the resovoir it is straight forward if you have the tools and are reasonably competent.

    Steering Box Overhaul/Replacement

That sounds like the pump, classic sound when it is on the way out. The pump will be drawing in air. You can even get loud bangs when the steering is on full lock.

Help major vibration no one can identify

Check your prop shafts are tight and there is no backlash when you twist the shaft. Check that the rubber donut joint on the prop shaft is not split. Check your engine and gearbox mounts for wear and movement. Check that the drop arm ball joint is not worn and the bolt is tight on the steering...

If you open the bonnet/hood you will see straight away how to remove them, just a couple of screws very easy. Get the white light kit, gives the car a nice update and also very simple to fit.

oil oil oil ,fricken leak again

If the oil is brown black then it should not be from the transmission cooler, the transmission oil should be red cherry. It can be brown black only if the oil in the transmision is burnt which would indicate a faulty gearbox. You mentioned that it is running along the chassis rail, check your...

    TD5 seat belt

Not sure how you get the trim off, but before you buy a new one slacken the mounting bolt and let the mechanism hang loose. You should find that the tensioner will release. Tighten the bolt until the belt will not pull out, position the mechanism in the position that the belt pulls out and...
