i had the same problem found out the reverse selector yoke had a groove in it.the thing was if that snapped there would be no reverse.Ive changed the gearbox now

yes that was me working on the disco

I was waiting to fill the disco up with fuel when the guy in front of me started reversing back with his 3 day old Audi A4 Quattro Estate,my winch bumper and spot lights made a nice impression in his tail gate(Funny he said he didnt see me)still £150 cash for a damaged spot wasnt bad TWIZZLE

i had this problem put a new reverse light switch in it still didn't work took the top of the gearbox off and found the reverse fork had a groove in it , so even when it was screwed right in it still didn't work TWIZZLE :cool2:

i made a detachable adjustable front tow bar for my discovery that i can change from ball to nato twizzle

hi all will the 300tdi cross member fit in the same holes in 200tdi cross member TWIZZLE

i have cut a square hole in the rear discovery bumper welded a peace of c channel to the under side of the bumper an screwed the socket to it then when im out getting muddy i have a plate that gos over the top to stop the crud getting in Twizzle
