I've painted mine over 3 years ago and they still look "black" just got the bumpers off, gave them a good scrub, plastic primer and 3 coats of Matt Black from the spray can after painting today

the 3 door body kit looks good on it, you should consider painting the bumpers

L-series on the left, Td4 on the right
