The front door that covers the water tanks hinges upwards on hinges that extend past 180 degrees, the door opened at 90 degrees as pictured has a stopper (and now an aditional floor support) so it doubles as a serving table :) When the door is fully open the bottles are easily accessable

And no I'm not building another one... Well... maybe for myself ;-)

How much you ask? Well.... all the fixings and bits and bobs soon add up! The whole thing including the cooker was probably around £100 to build, I didn't want to skimp on things like the hinges so they are all heavy duty sprung items and all the doors including the grill have magnetic...

Hi all, Thought some of you may be interested in this little build I did, I built it as a gift for my brother and his soon-to-be wife to go in the back of their VW camper, conviently... it also fits snugly between the back doors of my disco with the seats down so I'm sure I'll be borrowing it...

Hi all, So the turbo is on its way out on my 200tdi, question - is the 300tdi turbo interchangeable?? I've been offered one off a 300 but dont know if its too much hassle and just to find a 200 one instead. :rolleyes:

Bit of good news today... She passed her mot! yey!! Got an advisory on one of the front body mounts so more welding to come! lol Lorri789: I'm using +2 springs and +2 lower spring seat spacers but tbh the springs have probably sagged a bit over the years so it's probably more like +2-3 than +4...

Evening all! Well I'm shattered and my mullered knees are now aching but managed to get a lot done on the truck today... Fixed a brake fluid leak, replaced the rear prop as the uj had seized and welded itself to the flange, all new wheel bearings all round, new discs and pads all round -...

Hi all.... Ok so im getting a bit annoyed at the stupidly low range I get out of the tiny fuel tank in the boot since my bobtail job. So I was thinking of having a pair of tanks built to fit between the chassis rails and the sills like the lpg V8's have but not square not torpedo, anyways...

Duck *cough* prat?? ;) But seriously I had a 200 shaped V8 that had those massive side mouldings, unfortunately I ripped off a rear arch off roading one day. But I do agree the door mouldings did help slide past things
