Hi all... I know I've asked previously but no one seemed to want to help, I'm in the middle of a total rebuild of a '89 110... I'm basically building it for overland travel, so will have extra weight on board but obviously it won't be laden all the time. Tyres wise I've got a set of brand new...

Great little setup you got there ReadySalted. I did the same thing with my 110 using a bit of ply I found in the garage, just plonked it across the rear wheel arches. Good to see it works for you, I love the K.I.S.S aproach to things :)

lol some interesting opinions on this post... I do use britpart stuff but not for mechanical items such as uj's or water pumps etc... nuts bolts the odd bush and bits that don't really matter yeah of course cos its cheap! But you get what you pay for dont ya! :)

Plasti dip is expensive and peels off instead of scratching, I dont think I'd paint a whole vehicle with it. My brother sprayed the wheels on his VW van with plasti dip from rattle cans, looked good and pretty durable (until his misses curbed them) its nearly £20 a tin tho

Hi all... So heres the thing, my '89 110 will need its transfer box rebuilding as it seems to have lost low range :eek: This isn't too much of a problem as I wanted to have both the boxes rebuilt anyway. My question is, is it worth me looking at other options for transfer boxes? The old 19j...

Do a google search for "Horse box locker doors" Thats what I'm using at the moment to replace the sliding windows on my 110 - worked out less than half the price of the name branded ones! ;)
