If that was a dig at my eBay listing - LAND ROVER - BLUE 20-Way Header / Splice Connector & Terminals - YQC10005 Then, to buy the same from automotiveconnectors.com, with carriage and VAT, will cost you slightly more than from me. .

Disco 2 towing electric socket bracket

As long as it's a '12N' 7-pin socket (for road lighting) - then, any brand will do.

Disco 2 towing electric socket bracket

AFAIK, they're only available as part of the Genuine (Dixon-Bate) towing kit. See - https://www.lrukforums.com/threads/tow-bar-electrics-socket-plate-part-number.105408/ The similar VVP100020 might still be available - .

Land rover voltmeter - what am I doing wrong!

It's a VOLTMETER - regardless of how it's described by the parts book and most suppliers. If nothing else, the terminals on its rear give away its function - it has a 6.3mm tab for its single 'live' connection. An Ammeter (apart from having a different scale, and AMPS on its face) would have...

    td5 blank switch

You have a standard, post-2002, TD5 Defender dash. The position that you've circled (and the one opposite), are for the heated seat switches. The fronts of these switches are a different shape, and oriented 90° to the switches on the top row. The blank for these positions is - YXJ000020LNF

    Electrics

Yes, you have the early implementation of Dim Dip. With the engine running and just sidelights switched on, you also get dipped beam at reduced power - hence "Dim Dip" With the engine switched off and just sidelights switched on, you get just the sidelights (parking lights). .

    Electrics

It sounds like the Dim Dip unit - This type was fitted to late 80's vehicles. There are two versions of this unit - one for sealed beam headlamps, another for halogen headlamps. They both cost a small fortune to replace. .

    110 puma(ish) heated windscreen

No need to completely rewire it, or use a different timer. The Defender has used the same timer relay since the heated windscreen was introduced on the 2002 Model Year TD5. On the TD5, terminal 6 of the timer relay is taken to the oil pressure switch, in order to determine that the engine is...

Fault 3141 Driver Demand has been faulty

That 7-core looks OK You don't need the tool, a safety pin works well, as does a small jeweller's screwdriver. Are you "defeatfoesltd" on ebay? If so, I've had your message, and will deal direct on here, if that's OK? I can do them a bit cheaper here, without ebay's fees. .
