Right so this is my Defender... 1993 200tdi.. Hardtop county.. all original, including the paintwork. Im in need of some repair paint, exact! as i don't wanna fully repray; theres no need. So im tryin to find the colour, yes green Obviously! and low and behold the actual colour is not on...

yes i know, you have a defender, you deal with it, oxidisation is the devil for all us defender owners.. on the new defender, its got a fair bit, whats my best option for getting rid of it, inside around a few nuts and bolts its bulbled up into like a slime, is there anything i can blast it...

iv never greased em.. only had this new one a week.. but that is a very good point, ill get the grease gun out.

hey.. ye thanks alot, there does seem to be duplicated wires all over the place, thats one of the problems lol.. ye if you could take a close up pic that would be great, but no worrys if its too difficult :) that haynes manual is horrific in terms of being able to understand those wiring...

i have a 1989 landy 90, one of the last straight turbos.. when i bought it, i had visions of installing a nice radio, CB etc.... but no-matter how i look at it or what i do, i can't work out what wire is for what; now im talking about this whole bunch of loose wires not connected to anything...

would it be sufficient enough to weld 2 panels eitherside around the "aircon" vents or is it worth going the whole hog and getting a whole new bulkhead.. anyone got any other ideas??? also to what extend does rust become an issue when reffering to an MoT PASS OR FAIL...

Iv got alot of play in my my steering before my wheels begin to turn, youve to turn it a good 2-3" before any wheel movement occurs; this is either way.. is there anything i can do to fix this, or is it something that comes with age... being an 1989 landy 90..? thanks.
