The only way to get round it is turn the gasket it was on the other head off the doner enging and it was on the head of my truck

Right I got the head off and as you can see the gasket wasn't sitting over one of the core plugs and it was coming from there the gasket was put on with diesel facing upwards but on the old gasket it was turned round as to cover them sorry for the wait but pics wouldn't upload

I'll take some pics after when I get it off I'm thinking it could be something under it as all I did was fill the water up never started it and as I filled it it just came out the side

I cleaned the head spotless when I put it back on just strange it's comeiñg out between the 2 faces

I'm takeing the head off today and going to get a copp I wouldn't say cracked as it's comeiñg out between both faces not the head I'll get it skimmed this week and checked while waiting for a copper gasket

Fitted new head gasket today filled the water up and its leaking water between the head and the block passenger side by the last 2 bolts by bulk head could it be a bad gasket

Thanks the wife took them to the shop and got them all today I'll right them down for future needs

Hi got new hoses for my series 3 and wanted to know what size jubilee clips I need for them all

Thanks the chassie has been patched badley but I'll get there hope the weather is better then last year cover was realy thick my dogs worked there butts off

I'm going to cut out wat I can for this year paint up the chassie and axles as I'm hopefully going to put her on a galvanised chassie next year I want her up and running for winter ready for the beating season save using my van

Let the work begin did a bit on the series 3 the weekend rear tub off and started cleaning the chassie up ready for welding also picked up a head and an ifor back for for it ordered the main loom up as the other has been badly burnt out

Well took the tub off today ready to repair the cracked chassie came off ok didn't have to grind any bolts off found a few more repairs just need to get some steel now while I'm waiting for a new main loom as the other had a major burn out at some time I'll get some picks tomorrow

On the passenger side at the back by the rear shock dam I'm in need of a head as well I'm only craven arms

It's a 1975 2and a quarter disel with fairy overdrive she has a crack in the chassie and the head is cracked so got to find another head for it and sort out my lights so I can get it in for mot and I'll do the rest as I go along thanks malc
