    My son's 200tdi is showing 140k . Has new turbo . Is consuming ( burning ) a lot of engine oil , a litre every 100 miles . No contaminate in the coolant . Before we rip it all apart anyone got any suggestions .Starts well , goes well . Seems to me its either burning the turbo's oil supply ...

    Well the alignment is massively impacted by where the spacer washers go and by how many you use , so far I have seen three different versions of that .Have you ever done this job and if so did you use a diagram .

    So the gasket is the right way around , I arranged the rocker gear as per the very sketchy diagram in the Haynes manual but it is terrible , I agree the likely cause is that the oil holes are misaligned , anyone got a good quality diagram for a 2 1/4 petrol >

    Just refitted the cylinder to my S3 2 1/4 petrol , I took it off to fit a new valve rocker bar , on start up its absolutely ****ing oil out the back of the head and oil pressure is low ( light is on ) , anybody got any ideas what I have done this time ?
