    Am I being paranoid

    Am I being paranoid

Ive spun wheels in second gear and it gives me the 'puts you in your seat' feel about 200 revs earlier than it should, its quicker than my previous fiesta Zetec-s , so I would definitely say you would feel it! This is all mikes work at dynachip too, I'll try put up a pic of his flyer in case...

    Ashtree landrover international

Have heard similar about this company unfortunately, about them not getting done etc. Being flaky. £1200 is massive money I could never afford for this work, I'd expect fast service, at least an effort to communicate properly with the customer if I gave them a lot less money than that :(

Disco 2 .... is something missing off the steering?

Assuming you're talking about that arm with nout on it no there's nothing missing, I once though the same, if I remember its for LHD discos :)

6-Wheel Drive Discovery II - Am I totally mad ?

Sounds like what the old French cars did, left everything on their side and just put linkage bars to the right to make a right hand drive car, which tends to tear your legs to bits in a crash! Would you link it to the other side or jimmy something up so it worked as normal? I might be talking...

    Steve's unexpected Series 3 rebuild.

Its because just about the same time as brazing was being talked about on here I was researching it meself and got clued up on it! I have a couple tins of red oxide etch primer I bought from the peterborough LR show I plan to use, you could use that as well, since you can use it on anything I...

    Steve's unexpected Series 3 rebuild.

Looking good @LincolnSteve , What are you using to strip it clean? And are you going to braze any of the tub? Maybe if you up those supporting pieces in beneath the holes and then filled the remaining gap with braze you could get a strong good looking fill :) Saw this the other day maybe its...

    Series 3 Series 3 1972 Restore

Yep will probably spend a good while measuring it up from all angles, and staring at it for a long while, what is it you mean by having it on stands to put in the same place? :)

    Series 3 Series 3 1972 Restore

Any ideas/tips on measuring the exact places to cut for the rear chassis? Hoping to get going on it next week, off laning tomorrow, I still need to learn to weld so hopefully I can get someone I know to help, but gotta cut it up first, it wouldn't be very difficult if the cross member was...

ABS issue and dash lights mystery

Can't speak for the nanocom, but the Hawkeye is dead easy to operate, even I can manage! Especially since most of what you'll need to do is just read DTCs and clear them, you only need a few brain cells to do that on a Hawkeye :P mine had a few issues to neglect and I couldn't be without the...
