I had the right front wheel bearing seize a couple of months ago and the resultant skid and shuddering halt probably bent it. I'll take the bracket off when it stops raining :-)

Drive to a B and B, leave your Defender as is :-)

Also some extra items like spot lights, drug dealer wheels, winch, chequer plate will probably drag the value down.

Sounds like they think your valuation is too high. Adrian Fluxes have accepted mine for the last 3 years without a problem. When did you buy the vehicle, how much did you pay and what is your valuation?
