Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

Ahhhhhh interesting Boguing. I have not taken the landy off of the jack and since the engine is out, the Landy is sitting way higher than 2 inches which will make it seem worse with the left side wheel being inward. I just removed the steering box and will replace all the suspension rubbers at...

All of you quit it, :D..looks like when I lower the Landy it might still be off.... Now do me a favor, call and ask Paddock Spares why they not answering their phone, I have been up since 4 AM my time trying to order some parts :)

It's time..... for a new transfer box.....

I read you post and was thinking it sounds like the drive flange, I just installed some HD ones on a clients Landy. These have more splined surface area but the down side is you might wear the splines on the axle more in extreme driving conditions...the OEM ones being the sacrificial part. I...

    200tdi conversion intercooler location

For some reason I thought I took pics of them temporary mounted on my Landy, but cant find them. This is the IC and extracting fan I will be installing on mine. I did some math on the IC fitting dimensions, CFM and cooling efficiency, this is a great match. IC fits in front of the rad and...

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

The landy has a Brit Part HD 2" lift kit on it, rides like its on the rims, hard and nasty. I do intend to low bed 10ft X5 ft single axle tow a trailer on and off, wondering if I can go with something milder.

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

Well guys I feel like a fool. One of my work guys jacked up the Landy to paint the chassis unknown to me, I have not taken down the jack as yet but almost sure this is the reason. Since the Landy is lifted 2 inches, the tilt angle will be higher allowing the body to hang over the wheel more...

Yep as in rotor, used to the US calling it brake disc.

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

No, I dont think so, it has a fairly new HD kit with 2" lift. I will try to track it down, going to check on the turret etc.

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

Cant physically see the chassis being bent but I will pull a line to check both sides.

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

No, thats why I measured from the brake disc to the rim while the wheels are on.

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

The whole wheel is inboard Neilly, thats why I mentioned no camber. If the swivel has play or the pan rod bushes are bad, it will have camber/tilt. I do know its bizarre. The only logical way for this to happen is if the body is sitting offset on the chassis or if the chassis is bent... Cheers

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

Grem I dont think mine is adjustable, will double check. Siant .V8, I know the previous owner recently did a swivel rebuild with the upper and lower bearings etc..but will still jack and check. Thanks.

Left front wheel tucked in more under fender than right, any ideas why?

Hi Guys, I have not taken a detailed look as yet, but just thought I would ask in case anyone here knows the reason why. On my 97 300tdi 3 door landy, I realized that my left front wheel is about 2 inches inside the fender than the one on the right. I quickly measured the depth between the...

Swap madulars to aluminum or not?

. Thats true. I have been doing some repairs, maintenance and upgrades to a TD5, installed new turbo, did the brakes and a full service. The drive flanges were showing signs of wear and the owner sent me some HD flanges to install. Looking that them installed made me rethink swapping out to...

Swap madulars to aluminum or not?

I am not using the Freestyle alloys. I will check the fitment for the XS alloys which are the ones i want to use.

Swap madulars to aluminum or not?

The alloys I want to use are the XS not the Freestyle. The tyres on the landy are Mud tires which I dont need. The previous owner was a surfer so mybe he installed those for the loose sand he would have driven on by the beach. Do not need to go off road use for my airplanes.
