Hello Ian. Thank you for your reply. I've been under the bonnet and had the fuse box out from under there. I found 3 wires rotten through and crusty with green crud. They were disconnected completely. I've cleaned them up and reconnected them. That's gave me power to the blower and side lights...

I'm beginning to suspect the bcu is faulty as there seems to be loads of random faults with one common denominator the bcu. What's your thoughts
