I’m driving with compressor disconnected and the beeping is randomly intermittent - might that be a sign that there is a short in the wiring?

New sensors installed, recalibrated and same problem. O/S seems to either overinflate or sink…

Hi, sorry for some reason I didn’t see the reply until after I posted. It’s just curious that it happened on both sides. I replaced the sensors just over a year ago, so assumed they are ok. Saying that they aren’t originals so who knows. Nanocom says to wait 60 seconds after ignition off to save...

Yeah I had a read through. Big fan of his work! I took the damper off, which seems to be in good nick. The problem is this: So a new pulley… yay!

Without belt. Can still here a slight rattle I think.

Hi all, just fixed the SLS and now a new problem… never gets old. Rattling from front of engine. Took the fan off and ran without belt and noise seemed to disappear. Checked all the pulleys and they seemed fine. Ran engine with belt and slacked off slowly, noise quietened considerably but...

Fuse ok. So MAF on euro2 makes no difference? Mine is a 10p from 1999/2000 so assuming that’s euro2, and have bypassed the EGR.

All sorted. On closer inspection realised the plug for outlet valve was loose, so that was an easy fix. Spliced on the new plugs for the sensors and everything now seems fine. In other nanocom news I am getting a 0 for airflow g/hr, which I’m supposing indicates a dead MAF…

I have plugs I can steal from my old disco and possibly a working solenoid, if that’s the issue… will check this out. Thanks, as always! Robb

No clicking sound. I discovered that one of the three wires on the n/s sensor plug was broken, and when I checked the other side, I pushed the wires back and another sort of snapped off at the plug. They all feel very incredibly brittle. Should be able to fix this today and report back. Looks...

Finally got my Nanocom today and set about recalibrating the SLS after replacing the sensors after a blow out. I’m able to raise the suspension height using the calibration tool, but nothing happens when I try to lower it. The amber ride height light is on, and the nanocom isn’t logging any...
