Some obsevation. Before starting the car, key in position II, should the TC light come ON , for bulb check? (even if the system pressure is greater than 110 PSI or not) My car's TC light is not coming when at the above position, even when I can hear the ABS pump running. Is this correct?

In heavy traffic it warns 'gbox overheat'. I want the fan to take care of it.

You are correct. That's why I want to have a separate relay to switch ON the fan. Can I use pin 1 wire to get the relay activated? or else I will have to add the thermostat for fan too.

Hi all, Is the auto trans oil cooler thermostat for ' overheat 'warning message, a 'Normally Open ' type? It has two wires coming to it but RAVE shows only one. I have fitted a 7" fan and want to get a line from this to activate the relay. Your ideas welcome.

Here is a picture of the new 5 pin relay I bought from Rimmers of UK, which they said the genuine replacement for green relay of LANDROVER. My doubt is the name- the prince of darkness. Most of my 5 pins are replaced with these relays.

Naocom sometimes gets into a fit. Check under instruments what is the set value for overheat warning. Mine is set at 96C and Nanocom sometimes display the warning, to see that set point has changed to 9 C or lower. Reset n everything is fine.

Even with Nanocom, you won't see any error codes for incorrect 'injection quantity current' value. I had it fluctuating 0-3, very low value corresponding to a higher injection fuel quantity which in turn flooded the engine and shut it down suddenly like when idling in traffic. Getting it back...
