    I doubt getting a new tilt would make any difference without a paint job, how rusty are the bulkhead and chassis? is it just the standard 2.286 diesel? surprised that can cope with range rover diffs

    doesn't stop them from lifting the truck away. all these things help to deter the opportunist or encourage someone to look elsewhere but nothing is 100%

    iirc policies say - or the ones I read did - the car has to be "roadworthy" they don't mention mot. haven't read one for a few years though, usually nod off after the first paragraph

    the led sidelights on my series are brighter and whiter than the headlights, being mot exempt helps too :D

    given it a good dousing in brake cleaner and changed the rocker gasket as I had one lying around and it also looked suspect. fingers crossed

    apparently corteco hub seals are the ones to buy, just ordered mine from dingocroft and it has just dawned on me I didn't think to order fresh brake shoes :D

    just about to do my rear hubs, the shiny shaft is the halfshaft and they just pull out once the drive flange is undone

    heard of similar for a clutch that is difficult to bleed, wedge pedal down overnight.
