    Valley gasket

That doesn't surprise me at all. In the mid 70s I had to photograph car production lines for a magazine feature, went to Jensen, Rolls Royce, was also supposed to go to Ford but problems with the unions stopped that - ("any Ford employee featured in any photograph not related to the...

    P38 4.6 Vogue or L322 Hse Td6

lm actually going to drive the p38.lts in a sorry state now so lm a bit past caring. That's like a sympathy sh*g with an ex 'for old times sake'. Not necessarily a good idea . . . ;)

    P38 4.6 Vogue or L322 Hse Td6

"lf you think using the l332 is bad" I don't ;). You can do whatever you want to an L322, I looked at several before deciding on a P38, not impressed. A

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I was getting the low screenwash message too, so I went and bought 5 litres. manual shows the capacity is 6l, but it only took 3l to brim it - the level sensor seems to be slightly enthusiastic . . . A

Really? - you must be some weird kind of automotive masochist . . . (Oh, hang on - you've got a Range Rover - yes you are! :o) But going to see a much loved previous car being abused takes the weirdness to a new level . . . Alastair A

    Top End Refresh....

Isofix - you were lucky (prompts 4 Yorkshiremen sketch) When I were a lad we didn't even have seatbelts, I once went from Staffordshire to Scotland standing in the front footwell of my Dad's Rover 90 with my nose pressed against the windscreen (true) And you tell young people that today -...

    It's cold but not -40!

Ignore me - I put it back together and it's all working properly again . . . Presumably it's the RR version of 'touch me there again and I'll scream'. :) Who knows . . . Sorry to waste anybody's time. A

    It's cold but not -40!

Had the hevac panel out to replace a bulb while freeing off distribution blend flaps, got it back together and it won't show ambient temp as anything but minus 40. I found other threads that suggest it won't show correct ambient until after 15 mins of running but this was a week ago and I've...

    Your biggest fanny around

I don't think it's really feasible, but there's a good photo guide to the job here:- Range Rover 4.6 HSE - Detailing World That said if anyone knows different I'll be delighted to be proved wrong. ;) I'm probably going to have to do mine again before the summer . . . A

    RRC prices

Hi Pete - I said at the time that you'd got a bargain ;). Did you get the various niggles sorted? Looking out at about 4" of snow here - not yet had the chance to compare the P38's snow abilities, but will tomorrow . . . Regards - Alastair

who is cheapest insurance to go with

I insured with Adrian Flux last year for £260 odd, renewal last month came in at £313 with no change in cirumstances - not happy, went on comparison site and got a price of £194 for virtually identical cover, XS etc. Told AF and they came back with £190. Different comparison site threw up...

Expanding Land Rover Family - which one to get?

I went through a similar exercise just over a year ago, changing from my Classic LSE. Looked at several L322s around my budget of £6k, but not impressed, either by the quality of the cars on offer - lots of niggly and not so niggly problems and potential problems - or the driving experience...

    wishes i had bought this

"I believe this is being organised to put Russia on it's knees." +1 It's the only reason I can think of that would make OPEC agree to keep producing in the face of falling demand . . . I just wonder what incentives the US has promised. Alastair
