*UPDATE* It worked ! Just finished installing new part . All went well easy job really. Lights gone out Not driven it yet but all controls work and code has deleted and stayed off when turning wheel left and right . Cheers for the help guys

Quick question . Are the clocksprings coded to the car? Or are they just plug and play ?

Thinking back ... a few months ago there i har intermitted problems with the volume up and track skip bottons on the steering wheel controls ... the vol up would skip track and vol up would be vol down.. maybe thats linked too ..
