Thanks for replies. I haven't downloaded Rave, but I'm aware of it. My brother-in-law also ownes a D2 and has the Terrafirma code reader, and it showed no faults. It's not a massive problem, but just wondered if anyone else had encountered it before.

I had the same problem. I removed the changer, took it apart, cleaned the inside, and re-greased moving parts, reassembled and it worked. I have now however changed the head unit, as my original one wouldn't light up, so made things tricky at night! I replaced it with a £80 Pioneer head unit...

I had this problem a few years back when I had a TD4. Turned out to be a duff injector.

After much faffing, and no result, I've changed it for a Pioneer Bluetooth unit. At last, I can now see what I'm doing in the dark. o_O
