Pipe coming from the MAP sensor has popped off from under your exhaust manifold. Common problem. Just pop it back on and put a jubilee clip on to secure it. Should solve your sluggish problem.

Hi Guys & Girls Just had my head under the rear of my TD5 and could hear a wining/buzzing sound coming from the fuel Tank. Are the fuel pumps suppose to make that noise? Or are they silent? The engine wasn't running at the time but it does struggle to start in a morning and or stood for 12hrs...

Not that I can see. But I'm assuming there will be a leak somewhere hence why they bypassed it. Thanks bud. I'll try reconnect the hose and fill it up then see if there is a leak anywhere.

cheers guys. so just to confirm... if i reattach the hose to the ACE Reservoir and fill it up. should then the ACE system be back to how it should be? then i would be able to locate the leaking pipe and replace? i kinda need to know what they have done to disable it so i can re-enable it.surely...

I paid £1200 for it and the plan was to restore it back to its glory and keep it until I die lol. Your photo is the exact same as mine. Now with the chassis I'm in two minds whether to get shut and get a better one of stick with this old bird and bring her back to life.

I have cash to throw at it and access to another motor for work etc but it's not just the chassis is it? I would have to get new shocks, brake pipes etc because chance are there all be rotten or damaged getting them off the old chassis.
