Think I’ll just replace the panhard rod bushes to rule them out. Everything to do with steering bushes cv’s are only 2000miles old. If replacing the steering damper and panhard bushes doesn’t cure it then I’m going have to bite the bullet and strip each side down and check internally

Once everything is back together I’ll take it back to my MOT guy get him to put on his rolling road and also get him to give it a once over. It only went through MOT on 18th December.

I definitely put grease in when I did rebuild and everything is dry no sign of leaks. It’s like banging my head against brick wall now checked everything at the back end today and everything was as should be.

The cvs are brand new when done the axle rebuild. I’ll check the float on the end of the drive shaft that’s about only thing not checked.

Checked all that inc the function of shocks had top mount off and worked them all good. No sign of missing weights on wheels or any deformities of the tyres

Thing is I had removed it to replace alternator belt as it was frayed due to water pump being on last legs. Could I have over tightened the steering belt and that caused the issue?

Think that will be the next step I removed the propshaft today but then I started on the water pump because it arrived and crawling on cold concrete was starting to P me off
