A bit off topic How much work was it to retro fit? How much did it all cost?

Not for £2k it's not!! I thought it would be £2-300.

I fancy fitting air con to my 300tdi. Does anyone know if there are kits available or is it a case of finding a breaker and getting everything from that?

I had Disco headlights! It will be the plugs on the back of your bulbs, in the end I cut mine off and crimped in some spade connectors, never been a problem since.

I'll get the beast on the road (got a steering and front axle issue at the moment). Then I'll give you a shout. Like I say it will probably be in about a months time.

The thing is I don't like people so would probably be on my own. Set of tyres, winch and ground anchors for me then.

Tire pressures too high. I get it on my Disco when they are too hard.

My local landlord has just started selling food, I can get all his WVO if I can give him something to prove that he is disposing of it legally. Is there anywhere I can get an official certificate or will a hand written receipt do?

Take the lights out of the bumper you will see some bolts heads (2 each side I seem to remember) undo them then your bumper will drop off.

You won't loose too much water. It is as straight forward as you think just make sure you top up through the thermostat housing to avoid airlocks.

How often should this be done? Is it a service item?

Does anyone know where I can get a filler plug for my 300tdi gearbox. Mine looks a bit foooked so I don't want to wrestle it out without a replacement to hand.
