    Disco 1 Crash bang whollop

Shocks that have gone wouldn't cause what your describing (unless they somehow magically welded solid). I'd suggest you check the prop UJs and the rubber donut. Either that or you have a radius bush gone or a REALLY poorly balanced tyre

Disco 2 Rims & am I allowed to request......

Don't really understand the major problem here as the overall height of the 18" with tyre is 29.04" and the 16" rim with tyre is 28.95"..? Just to clarify, your talking an overall diameter difference of 2.286mm, which isn't even the slightest amount worth worrying about. ;) (You may even have...

No, but I have one I don't need if you want to come collect (assuming you live in Hampshire?)

Disco 2 Struggle to get reverse

Not a bad idea just bending it out the way. As for the gaitor, I just took mine off and stuffed a scarf around the gear stick to drone the noise out :D

Gear and Transfer Box Gearstick Linkage

Hi Guys, I'm trying to find the bush kit and clips etc for a D1 diff lock mechanism. Don't suppose anyone kmows what I need to search for? I've tried a few things, but no luck. Also, does anyone know what the gearbox selector bush is? Its the plastic bush that the pin for the gear lever...

Disco 2 Struggle to get reverse

Yeah this happens. Take the gearstick gaiter off, the plastic base included. Then take a stanley knife to the rubber gaiter and slit it right the way down. Only other option is a short shifter (reduces the actual movement needed to engauge the gears, NOT BY SHORTENING THE GEAR STICK) Since I...

    Disco 1 Glow plug relay

Yes, but doesn't the quality of bio diesel vary greatly compared to that of normal diesel?

Other what have u done on ur disco today

Yeah it'll be fine, especially if you still have the bump stops in good condition. Seen people drive home without a spring before, knocks alot, but not overly damaging, so I'm sure a few meters isn't going to cause any harm, lol.

    Disco 2 Front differential

Does it disappear when you take your foot off the throttle and then come back as soon as you apply any load? Sounds like you may not have done something up tight enough, such as the half shuft hub nut or the bolts that hold the wheel bearing in place. Failing this, you may have a faulty wheel...

    Disco 1 300 tdi 2psi of boost???

That is a good point though, is the EGR blanked? If not, the boost pressure may be dumping through to the exhaust.

    Disco 1 300 tdi 2psi of boost???

Oh sorry, didn't realise. Not familiar with this one, but shouldn't be tooooo different to other computer controlled engines. Do you know what pressure the Boost Pressure sensor is reading? Also, have you tried bypassing the wastegate modulator? EDIT: Just looked and noticed it doesn't...

    Disco 1 300 tdi 2psi of boost???

Have you checked the fuel pump boost pin and diaphram? Is it moving freely in the fuel pump?

    Disco 1 Glow plug relay

Probably should have mentioned you were running this first, lol. Have you tried running it on diesel for a bit? Would need a couple tank fulls at least to clean it out and test. You could always try something like Diesel Rhino which is really good at cleaning the lines, but it's supposed to...

    Drivetrain troubleshooting and overheating.

Sounds like the planet wheels may have gone in the diff. When a drive shaft or CV joint goes, you normally heard it all the time, whereas the diff doesn't always make noise. (this is assuming you didn't take the drive member off the front wheel hubs) Quite common for the diffs to give out on...

    Lifted suspension issue

Oh and just for some laughs, heres what happens when they fall out :D Think I need some bump stops. :P

    Lifted suspension issue

Get some spring clamps and some jubliee clips, lol. Jubilee clip the tops of the springs to the top plate and get the heavy duty spring clamps to hold the spring to the base of the axle. :p If you want axle articulation however, then get the dislocation cones.

    Disco 1 Glow plug relay

Out of interest, what made you change the glow plugs? If you don't know how to diagnose if they're working now, what drove you to change them in the first place? Relay for the glow plugs is under the bonnet, drivers side in the fuse box. Look on the back of the lid for the right relay. As...
