How does a gps speedo work though, is it a standalone thing or does it need the magic of app. to work?

I had the same issue with a new sensor, I've got a feeling they're selling the wrong part number for the engine. How can the tappets and timing make the difference between the gauge sitting in the red or not?

Ok then......finally sorted the temperature gauge reading. Got part number PRC2505 as the sender and although it doesn't read too well on the series gauge it seems fairly accurate on a chinese digital gauge I got. I'll post a pick of the incongruous item tomorrow.

From series 2 to tdi you can make most bits fit any model.

Theres a hole for a bent nail though so perhaps they've got an ex landrover engineer on board.

You can use a petrol ignition switch on a diesel with a bit of ingenuity, diesel switches are stupid expensive but with a multimeter you can work out which terminals you need and just wire the glow plugs up to a separate switch......I have the relay from an old disco on mine wired to a toggle...

You're about a year too late, I'd have given you loads but given them away. Having said that I saw a rim on the shed roof this morning I'll let you know what it is.

I'd have taken £5 for the lot......I have some lwb rims and tyres going spare as well, got some 265/75/16's on 7J rims on the 109 yesterday, they look the business and fill out the arches well.(a bit too well really but I'll keep my head down).

I put some on ebay a while ago for 20 quid, 6 of them no takers so gave them away in the end to a guy that bought some early defender rostyles from me. People ask stupid money for them but in reality there's thousands out there and they're pretty worthless. Also I wouldn't get series rims I'd go...

I decided against that one and rescued a 70A relay from an old camper. Ordered some 10mm cable and a couple of 30A fuses........that should do the trick I think, like I said its not a heavy duty circuit but a few extra amps might be handy one day.

The bracket is held on( or should be) by a couple of the studs that hold the gearbox on, just undo them to remove the bracket.

It looks like the bracket is twisted.
