Other threads indicate that the high temp gauge is a sign of a CANBUS problem between the IP and PCM. I'm assuming IP = Instrument Panel?

Yours appears to have extra supports for the tub compared to mine, forward of the rails.

The long tub supports look a bit odd compared to my 300tdi chassis. Being a 300, it wouldn't have the sliding td5 tub rail at the rear.

I think the idea is to slide the crossmember in from one side to the other.

...unless they are the brackets that the crossmember is supposed to bolt onto, and have been chopped off?

Here's a photo of my 110. Doesn't look like those brackets have any impact to what you are doing.

Have you checked out the YRM video on replacing the crossmember?

My life at the moment: The original 1989 19J loom is at the top, and a 300tdi loom from a '96 Defender is at the bottom. The 300tdi loom will be used as the base as it's closer to what I'll be finishing with, which will be wrapped in loom tape. All the crap has been taken off both of them...
