Handbrake was sticking on, stripped cleaned and re assembled=working perfect-was bloody hot though doing it!

Hardest part is cleaning the chassis yourself. It's a horrible crappy job! Having the chassis washed at a commercial cleaners 1st helps.

MOD had plenty of civvie spec landies, just slapped a coat of NATO green on them.

UPDATE. I fitted new flexiables and bleed the system again- still air in the system!!! By now I was ready to set fire to the bloody thing!!!!!!!!!!!! My mate left it at mine and got a lift home. I jammed the brake pedal down with a lump of wood and left it over night. Came out the next morning...

Yes- for the 1st few pumps, then no bubbles, but when I go back to same cylinder again, air bubbles again!

Is the current MOT test really any good though? Loads of things the tester cannot test/check, my understanding is testers cannot even test rear seatbelts if a child seat is fitted? What I would like to see is that advisory items must be fixed within a certain time.
