    EAS Compressor Blue hose.

Thanks for all your replies so far. However, I'm having a senior moment regarding the fittings, so thought I would post a photo of the existing fittings.

Gaylander, purchase for dogs( advise from RR people)

To save a lot of potential hassle, I would get the head checked out just in case it has a slight warp. They will advise if it needs skimmed.

    EAS Compressor Blue hose.

That would be good, Thanks. I'll send you a PM. I managed to locate some places who do these pipes/hoses, but they were closed yesterday and it's a holiday weekend :( The fittings on Pete's link do not resemble the fittings on my pipe, I'll do a further search for the right ones. Hopefully I...

    EAS Compressor Blue hose.

That price is a bit stiff! Not sure Datatek, I have clear pipes for window washers, but think they will be a bit too soft considering the heat generated from the pump. I could experiment I suppose.:D I've a length of fuel pipe that has just the right internal diameter I could heat the hose in...

    EAS Compressor Blue hose.

Hi all The blue hose on my EAS compressor has split inside the union. Looks like the red collet has cut through the hose and now needs replaced. Question is; where can I get a replacement and is it a main dealer only part? However, I don't like bodging, but I have a rubber hose from a...

    P38 front grille restoration

Hi all This has been on here before but can't find the thread. The grille on my P38 looks like it's supposed to be grey in colour and is pretty well faded. I would like to tidy it up. What should I use? I'm sure somebody mentioned a dye that is painted on, or is there something like back to...

    New compressor

I had the same problem when I reconditioned my pump. It turned out that the blue hose had snapped inside the black union between the blue hoses. All fine now

Auto box & engine oil cooling pipes leaking.

Cheers Wammers. I've just this minute checked the advisory, it's the n/s drag link ball joint that has slight wear (it looks quite new) I'll replace the drag link & get a new ball joint for the other side to make life easier.

Auto box & engine oil cooling pipes leaking.

While measuring the drag link today it was about 25mm longer than it should be and almost new condition. Rave states 1170mm maybe that's what is causing the pull to the left. Since the advisory stated that a ball joint has very slight play I'm going to replace both joints. Anyway, getting to...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Reconditioned the EAS compressor. Easy enough to do provided you have the correct allen key to take out the con rod. Left the allen keys in the boat, but managed to get the new seal on without any problems. Fitted it back onto the P38a, it didn't seem to pump up the suspension at all...

    Only windscreen vent working.

Last winter my P38a did the same thing, blowing hot air to the windscreen only, with some coming into the cab. No problems I thought, at least it'll defrost the screen. Come summer, the distribution flaps worked perfectly  Maybe I have the model with SCDF (season controlled distribution...

    Still pulling to the left

Tyre pressures OK New pads and system has been bled. Funnily enough, I was thinking today that maybe it had been in a bang before I bought it. Having said that, I didn't see anything untoward when I was replacing the front air springs last year.

    Still pulling to the left

I mentioned a while back that my P38a was sometimes pulling to the left, despite the wheel alignment being spot on. I put it down to tramlining and or the camber in the road. Running on 18 inch Hurricanes & new General Grabber tyres that were fitted last year. It had passed the MOT 2 weeks...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Picked my P38 up from the garage last night with a new MOT. Rear brake pipes replaced, nsf caliper free'd off and the driver side caliper had to be replaced as well. £160 labour charge + parts, not bad I thought.

Removal of fuel tank to replace new brake pipes?

Just less than half a tank:D Putting it in tomorrow morning. I was going to do it myself, but I've still not fully recovered after the operation.

Removal of fuel tank to replace new brake pipes?

Hi all My P38a needs rear brake pipes renewed for the MOT. The mechanic told me that he might need to drop the tank. Would this be right?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

My P38 failed it's MOT this morning. Not much needing done. Driver seat insecure...now fixed. Was gonna offer it counselling :D Front calipers seizing up. Will do that Friday pm. Headlights a bit squiffy, don't know if that means re-alignment. Couple of front brake pipes. Advisory's...
