Finished off the trim and hardwired the footwell lights in and had a try at the Center caps.Excuse the seats it has been a work horse for the last 3 years need a good steam clean and a wet vac,failing that burning.

4 wheel alignment done after fitting the lift kit,brake calliper,drums,speaker grills and new brake lines painted,interior cleaned out and led lights fitted in the foot wells and under rear seats and ****ed about trying to tart the damaged silver trim inside.

Sorry a couple more a suggestions have you checked the crank case filter and air filter mine didn’t look like they had been changed for a while when I got it that help mine poor running and smoke or after all that work could just someone left a loose hose or split one.

After replacing all of that I’m going to assume you checked the EGR isn’t blocked or faulty ,MAF sensor is working alright ,MAP sensor isn’t blocked or faulty and the turbo is ok?

Prop shaft back on with new bearings,engine bay de gunked as the person who fitted the egr blank didn’t fully tighten the clamp to the exhaust and some comma diesel magic added to the tank.

It was a wrestling match alright but it’s back to 4 wheel drive now without the bearing noise.The splines were rusted,but a quick clean up sorted that out.

Looks like they just beat as the 17mm nut was right out,but back in and used a chisel and it came straight out,only problem is my bloody ring spanner is to fat for the other side,looks like I’ll have to buy more tools tomorrow . Thanks lads

just had a phone call from the garage my car is in to get the rear brakes,fuel cradle and vcu bearings replaced but they can’t split the propshaft.Is it more than likely they don’t know what they’re doing or can these be a pain to separate?
