I haven't really looked into dyeing it. Thought painting might be slightly less messy.

Colour change, the canvas is old but still sound. Has faded very badly.

Does it crack or peel off.?

Thinking about painting my old and very faded canvas. Found this... anyone ever use this or something similar?

Began service 20th September 1983.... according to MOD. Declared manufactured 1984 ?? )

Only what's on the V5, Declared manufactured 1984.... first registered 2003... only 2 previous keepers. ( Military reg 63 KB 63 ).

Adjusted play in steering..... seriously seized lock nut. Started writing list of other things to do.

Sounds like a lot of fun.... like the idea of a pink RUC Landy... did it still have all the armour etc... ? A mate had a Niva many years ago and swore by it. ( and at it sometimes )

Always more fun to drive it yourself.... I drove mine back from Wales. Ran out of petrol in the middle of nowhere ( petrol stations with no petrol ! ).

Brings back memories.... I've toned mine down to this.
