When I replaced the dessicant I stuck it in a bit of the wifes old tights.

Look at the mechanism on the injector pump first. Is it going back to the stop? Throttle cable might just need slacking off.

The early 90 and 110 had your 2.5na engine so get the manual above and you'll have all the engine info you need. The 2.25 was only fitted to the series range of landrovers over here.

It's been close to 3 months now and it looks like the tie wrap has more or less cured it. Looked a little damp in the injector well but I'm not overly concerned about that. I might cut the tie wrap off, trim the end and fit one of the two types of spring clips I ordered.

I've only ever done one vb, mine. But an o ring not seated can make some weird noises. From memory, and you'll know this for sure, the diaphragm end is easy to take off and recheck. And the spring, I'm sure, you did refit.

Instead of the dye? Nah, spent way too much time with torch, mirrors, rags and degreaser and not got far. That dye is £10 but only treats 4L or so of oil so that's 2 bottles for the engine and one for the box. I've got a leak on the p38 engine as well and can't find the source for that either...

200tdi in me tratter. Chasing oil leaks, the transbox is proving a pita to find a leak or leaks same with the engine. Got a UV torch so a bit of dye in the oil should help but will it bugger something?

I had to cut the alloy lip off the body to use defender door seals. Was many years ago when series were cheap. Don't think I would do that now if I had a good one.
