nope, the two white plastic things with the green wires in them. connect the white plastic thing with two green wires to the white plastic thing with one green wire.

pull the two connectors apart and use a short bit of (insulated) wire to join them together. (wires going to the switch, not the switch its self) make sure the brake lights come on when joined. (don't forget to have the ignition on) no point removing the switch, if it isn't faulty! if the...

I usually bench test and try and stall it with a lump of wood by ramming it into the drive gear while running. causes plenty of smoke and looks a bit heath robinson, but found a few I could stall before fitting to motor! possible a weak brush spring/crud in brush holders. current flows but...
