    Morocco March 2016

Hi Oldun, sorry to hear about the problems. Can you tell us how Peter had his docs/cash stolen? I only ask as if there is a new trend/method of theft or scam it may help others to be pre-warned. The area around Algeceras has been getting dodgier for a while but Tarifa seemed ok last time we went...

    Derbyshire laning

Snow's here :D Took the long way to walk the dogs, only a couple of inch so far but more forecast over next 24 hours and some gusty winds to make it drift. Should be a good one tomorrow if anyone can make it.

That's a shame, I know you're trying to sell the 90 but an occasional run out wouldn't do it any harm. Drop me a line if you get a free day and we'll have a day out, maybe drag Will out as gate bitch too.

Laning this Saturday. Ok, more heavy snow forecast for Friday and into Saturday, hopefully https://www.facebook.com/Buxton-Weather-Watch-228826103957266/?ref=ts&fref=ts so who's up for a play? Meet at the Yonderman (A623 Wardlow Mires...

Off-roading in France June 2016 anyone?

Thanks for the info Vince, route looks interesting and it's in a beautiful but little explored region of France. Being more a fan of driving than sailing I will probably do the Calais crossing and meet up with you on the evening of the 8th. Kerm you have a message.

Off-roading in France June 2016 anyone?

Hi Vince, thought I'd already replied but must have forgotten to hit the "post reply" button when I'd finished typing! I'm still in and looking forward to it. I'll hopefully be spending an extra week in France so will peel off on the way back and head for the mountains. Any chance of a copy of...

If any one fancies a play this Saturday I'll be setting off from the Yonderman cafe (A623 Wardlow Mi res) at 10.30. If you wish to sample their wares get there earlier. Thanks to a display of total incompetance by both BT and Openreach I still have no internet at home so won't have much chance...

Still a possibility on the high ground but not to the extent originally forecast. My broadband has packed in at home and BT won't be out to fix it till next week. So, as it's going to be tricky to keep a eye on this thread and update it, tomorrow is canceled for me. I'll sort so.ething for next...

Who's up for some laning in the snow on Saturday? The local forecast is giving warnings for potentially disruptive deposits of the white stuff on Saturday, depending on exactly where the two opposing fronts actually meet. The forecast should become more exact by Friday so, if it's going to give...

    Peak District Laning 29/30/31st Jan

It's a bit all over the place, from Matlock up to near Ladybower. We actually did about 30 lanes to give the guys a taste of the Peaks and even had a few flakes of snow. Keep an eye on the Derbyshire Laning thread for future trips as we try to get out whenever possible.

I did wonder who it was :-) By the time I realized it was toooooooo late! We were just making brief use of the car park to plan the last bit of the days route.

    Morocco March 2016

If you are going to be using petrol from the pumps, rather than the tins of Colemans white fuel, get a couple of spare generator tubes to take with you. They can quickly clog up, especially if the fuel is not perfectly clean, and then soon go from a rough burn to bloody useless! It's possible to...

    Morocco March 2016

Not strictly true. Moroccan beer is quite good by European larger standards and is widely available if you know where to look. Although slightly more expensive than stocking up in Spain I prefer to do my bit for the Moroccan economy, with the exception of special dietary needs I totally disagree...

    DEC Superscan Solo

That's very interesting, thanks for that info. Both of their websites need updating as I couldn't find that info when I looked yesterday. I guess that Land Rover have finally released the relevant codes, in which case the DEC unit may well be upgraded soon as well.

I didn't think you could set the SLS with either Nanocom or Hawkeye? As in re-calibrate or alter ride height, I'm about to fit spacers on the rear with re-positioned ride height sensors and will need to set the height. Can either unit do that?

    DEC Superscan Solo

Still for sale, a very comprehensive piece of kit that looks to be superior to Nanocom/Hawkeye units in virtualy every respect. Unfortunately the one job I want it for it won't do, and neither will the others, that is to calibrate the SLS on my D2! A very well priced diagnostic tool for someone.
