Ooooooh! That step half way down Swan Rake has got a lot bigger since last time I did Holinsclough!! :D No bits to pick up Mark, but it was close :eek: Unfortunately there was a motorcycle trial going on so we decided not to bother going up Limers Rake and having to fight past all the bikes...

So long as my Disco survives the rigors of Holinsclough I'm happy to run the same route again for those who can't make tomorrow. Can do either Sat 14th or Sun 22nd if that suits?

There are some quite tricky lanes in the route so I'd say meet at 9:30 for a 10am start. I also think we might be better off with one group this time so we've probably got enough people for this one now. If anyone else wants to do it let me know and I'll run the same route in a week or two's...

That's a bugger! If it's a write off, and the damage is all or mostly cosmetic, it may be worth buying back from the insurance company. That should give you a good chunk to turn it into an expedition vehicle ;)

No probs mate, always up for a bit of laning if I'm free and solvent :D The lane I did after you left had been tarmaced all the way through but there was another near the end of that one which was quite a nice one. Two new lanes for me so well worth a run out. See you soon

Just got round to downloading the few pics I took last weekend :doh: A great day out in the snow, even if we had to miss one lane because we couldn't even get to it!! (pic 2 and the top of the wall to the left is about 7 feet above the road:eek: ) And a cracking sunset to end the day:)
