    discovery 2 td5 air problem!

Your best bet, before spending any money on guess work, would be to find someone local with a Nanocom or Hawkeye and check then clear any error codes. Check the LZIR map for anyone local to you. Edit, looks like the closest Nanocom to you is Bennehboy in Huddersfield. If he can't help I'd be...

Morocco on air, yes or no?

I'm 99% decided to convert to rear springs before taking the D2 to Morocco next April but I really like the air suspension. Has anyone here done Morocco on air bags and what was your conclusion, good or bad? If I kept it on air I'd be fitting new genuine bags and height sensors before departure...

    Bakewell Bash ...

We've had a few good falls the last two years but only above 1200' feet or so and they've cleared quickly due to rain moving in, managed a few nights out playing in foot deep snow that was virtually gone by morning. There were a few spots under North facing walls where the snow was still hanging...

:eek::D:p:D:p:D:p I take it you're not familiar with Derbyshire? Whilst March can be quite pleasant it is not unusual for temperatures to be well below freezing at night with 6'+ drifts blocking the roads. It's a very rare year when there isn't still snow hanging under the walls on the...

Any recommendation for a good garage in Leicester area

Try Autofix Fleckney, 0116 240 3097 or 07950346386. They're not landy specialists but Phil, the owner, is an enthusiast (and occasionally a grumpy old git :D ) Good guys who won't bankrupt you with inflated labour rates.

HELP!!!!!!!! its the dreaded D2 immobiliser.

If you open up the key fob, as if you were changing the battery, and take out the circuit board the code you need to re sync the key with the ECU should be printed on there. I know the procedure using a nanocom but you'll have to check how it's done using Hawkeye

Think the Waterloo at Taddington is shut now, unless it's just having a long refurb! The Manifold Inn at Hulme End near Hartington does camping but not been in the pub for years so can't say if it's any good or not, lots of good lanes right on it's doorstep though. Or the Bulls head at Monyash...

Hi Paul, if you haven't already then try the Miners Standard at Winster as a venue. Decent pub, good food and with a field for camping. 01629 650279 I'll be up for the weekend and for leading a group on the lanes depending on dates

    STUCK DERBYSHIRE BRIDGE//HELP

There is nowhere on Macclesfield Old Road to get stuck, unless you are driving illegally on the peat moors at the side of the legal route. Judging by the amount of damage along the route at the moment you are far from the only idiot trying to get the route closed but that's no excuse for...

What has happen to the adventurism with Defender owners.

I should have added a smiley at the end of my comment as it was meant tongue in cheek, reading it back it does come over as quite abrupt. I was just meaning that you could have the adventure in any vehicle not just a Defender. As for the discomfort and reliability I have crossed the Sahara on or...

Green Laning Lands End to John O' Groats

Before splashing out on OS paper maps try using the OS website https://osmaps.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/ to plan your route. It's not expensive for an annual subscription to view the whole UK at 1:25000 and that way you can work out exactly which sheets to buy should you need to. Also consider...

What has happen to the adventurism with Defender owners.

Why is adventurism exclusive to Defender owners? Or does driving an uncomfortable, unreliable vehicle add something to the illusion?
